Q. How come I do not see a category for sending a Hate Card to obese homosexual Jewish black immigrants? I really want to send them a card.
A. Because the Hate Cards team, along with most fine human beings, loathe with a special diligence bigoted racist xenophobic assholes. And, you should probably go away, now. Really. Hurry up. Go on. There is nothing for you here.
Q. After I send a card, how long does the recipient have to claim the card?
A. A recipient has up to 7 days, a full week, to retrieve the card. Unless you schedule the card to arrive at a later time.
Q. What if I don't want the person who receives this to know it was from me? I mean, I don't want to lose my job. Can I remain anonymous?
A. As a Member of Hate Cards, you can send your card Anonymously. There is a check box provided at the time of e-mailing. Click that box to suppress your user information. Even the "invisible" information.
Q. How often is the site updated?
A. We turn out dozens of new cards every month. This will both expand existing categories and create new categories. As a member, you will not lack for options.
Q. What if I have a saying or image of my own? Or, I want to create my own card for a category that you don't have?
A. We have two ways to create your own Hate Card. First, we have Create a Card: This will allow you to create your own Hate Card. Then you may write whatever you would like on the front, inside left and inside right pages. You may add your own image. This option is available only to members and those trying our 30 day free trial. We also have our Submissions page and Artist's Row. If you wish to write a card, or create illustrations for cards, please submit via the Submissions page and you will be able to share your creations with the entire world.
Q. Can I contribute ideas of my own?
A. Yes, you certainly may. The Submissions page is where you contribute those ideas. We adopt the best of them for additions to our site. The Hate Card team values your creations. And, so can everyone else.
Q. May I print the cards so I can send them through the postal mail?
A. Yes. As a member or by purchasing a single card you can print the card and mail it to whomever you would like. Or, you could frame it and then place it on your mantle as a memento of the most amazing product of the 21st century! In a hundred years your great-grandchildren will be see it and they will remark to each other, “Gran-pappy and Gran-mama, sent Hate Cards? That is so awesome. I never knew that they were ever so amazingly cool and hip!!! I can't believe it. Hate Cards are like a family tradition and stuff.” Then perhaps they will actually write Hate Cards back, instead of just ignoring you in your dodder-age. You won't have to depend on us to let them know how ungrateful the little louts are and how if you go one more day without hearing from them they will be cut out of your will. Hate Cards… We save families.
Q. How do I print my cards?
A. As an Unlimited Member or while enjoying your 30 day free trial, you will have three different ways of printing your cards. First, if adding to your shopping cart, you may print the card from the shopping cart in a "blank" format. After printing, you may fill the cards out physically and send them however you would like. Second, from the shopping cart send page you may fill the card out using the text boxes and print as a completed card. Third, you may print directly from the quick send page (where it says Send This Card Now). This operates the same as from the shopping cart. You may simply fill out the card and print rather than send electronically. Or, you may do both. As a Pay Per Card Member, after purchasing the card, you go into My Account where your cards are stored and print directly from there.
Q. What do I do if someone insults my race, religion or sexual preference?
A. If someone insults you in this way, you should with all promptness, send them a Hate Card. If someone uses a Hate Card to send you a message like this then please let us know by e-mailing the webmaster with a copy of the link. We will investigate and if it is determined to be against the noble Hate Card tradition that person will lose their Hate Card privileges. We do not tolerate assholes.
Q. Can I Schedule my cards to arrive when I want? Heck, I don't want to have to think about my ex on every ex-anniversary. Can I just schedule the card to arrive on every anniversary, birthday, morning, evening, and afternoon? Perhaps, fourteen or fifteen times a day?
A. Um, did we date, once? Yes, you may schedule your card to arrive any day you want. But, only once a day. This option is provided at the time of e-mailing. If you wish the card to arrive right away, you do not need to choose the scheduler at all.
Q. I am a politician and I am receiving Hate Cards from my constituents. How do I make it stop?
A. Quit selling out the people you represent.
Q. What does a membership consist of?
A. For an all inclusive membership you receive unlimited Hate Card sending via e-mail and unlimited printing via your printer. You also receive the ability of Two-Step Preview and Send and Create Your Own Hate Card.
